PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that can suppress reduction of the efficiency while suppressing degradation of a fuel battery in the control for reducing the temperature of the fuel battery.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system 100 has: a reformer 12 for generating hydrogen-contained gas with raw material; a fuel battery 10 for generating power with hydrogen-contained gas and oxidant gas; a temperature detector 15 for detecting the temperature of the fuel battery 10; a raw material supplier 11 for adjusting the supply amount of the raw material; an oxidant gas supplier 13 for adjusting the supply amount of oxidant gas; a combustor 14 for combusting anode off-gas of the fuel battery 10 to heat the fuel battery 10; and a controller 16 for restricting increase of the operation amount of the oxidant gas supplier 13 when the operation amount of the oxidant gas supplier 13 exceeds a threshold value smaller than the maximum operation amount under the state that the oxidant gas supplier 13 is controlled to increase the supply amount of the oxidant gas so that the temperature of the fuel battery 10 is reduced, and controlling the raw material supplier 11 so that the fuel utilization efficiency of the fuel battery 10 is increased. |
