PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digitalized comparator.SOLUTION: A comparator 1 comprises a frame 3 in shape of approximately the letter U, an anvil 4 supported at one end of the frame 3 so as to be able to advance and retreat, a spindle 2 supported coaxially with the anvil 4 at the other end of the frame 3 so as to be able to advance and retreat, a measurement unit 7 for measuring the advance/retreat of the spindle 2, and a display unit for displaying the measurement result of the measurement unit 7. The measurement unit 7 is provided with an anvil-equivalent part 49 that rotates around a support shaft 48 with the advance/retreat of the anvil 4, an interlock part 50 formed in greater length than the anvil-equivalent part 49, supported so as to be able to rotate around the support shaft 48, and connected to the anvil-equivalent part, and a detection unit 10 for detecting the displacement of rotation of the interlock part 50. |
