PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission controller capable of ensuring that a vehicle continuously travels while considering the probability that abnormality, when occurring to a hydraulic pressure supply circuit, advances to a failure.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission controller comprises: input and output shafts connected via first and second clutches, and a gear engagement mechanism 60 disposed between the input and output shafts; first pressure regulating means 70e capable of regulating a hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic oil discharged from an oil pump; a first switching valve 70m that can switch the supply of the hydraulic pressure over between a plurality of oil paths, supplies the hydraulic pressure to the second clutch when being connected to one of the oil paths, and supplies the hydraulic pressure to a second gear engagement mechanism (60(6-8)) to engage 8-speed transmission gear at a minimum change gear ratio to the input and output shafts when being connected to the other oil path; and first driving means 70m8 driving a first switching valve when a current is supplied to the first driving means 70m8, the supply of the current to the first driving means 70m8 being cut off if the first switching valve 70m supplies the hydraulic pressure to the second clutch when high-pressure abnormality occurs to the first pressure regulating means 70e. |
