PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is compact, is small in occupied area of a circuit board, and high in connection reliability.SOLUTION: A socket terminal 8 has a flat rod-like connection piece 8a in conductive contact with a plug terminal 5; the plug terminal 5 has a fork-shaped terminal part 5d which is formed in the flat rod-like connection piece 8a and in conductive contact with the socket terminal 8. The plug terminal 5 is fixed to a height direction Z with its plate surface along a height direction Z of the plug housing 4, and a whole connector can be downsized in a pitch direction of the plug terminal 5. The fork-shaped terminal part 5d has a contact point recess 5b having an opening 5b1 on an insertion side of the socket terminal 8 at a plate edge. By putting the flat rod-like connection piece 8a of the socket terminal 8 inserted through the opening 5b1 by the contact point protrusion 5f of the contact point recess 5b from a direction (vertical direction) along a plate surface of the plug terminal 5, it can reliably be in conductive contact. Thus, connection reliability between the plug terminal 5 and the socket terminal 8 can be increased. |
