PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably prevent generation of overspeed by curbing deterioration of convergence with an upper limit engine rotation speed due to a change in a traveling state of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An overspeed prevention control device prevents overspeed of an engine mounted on a vehicle through torque control of the engine. The overspeed prevention control device has a control section which obtains required torque to make an engine rotate at an upper limit engine rotation speed and controls engine torque on the basis of the required torque when an engine rotation speed is not less than a limited rotation speed to execute the torque control. The control section obtains required torque on the basis of a travel resistance value of the vehicle. |
