A heater usable with an image heating apparatus including a first terminal and a second terminal includes: an electrode including first and second electrodes which are connected to the first and second terminals, respectively, and extended in the longitudinal direction; a heat generating unit between adjacent electrodes; a first wiring connected to the first electrode, and extended with a gap between the heat generating unit; a second wiring connected to the second electrode which is connected to the heat generating unit in a first heat generating region; and a third wiring connected to the second electrode which is connected to the heat generating unit in a second heat generating region. The second wiring is extended adjacent to the second wiring. A gap between the second wiring and the third wiring in the widthwise direction is smaller than a gap between the first wiring and the second wiring in the widthwise direction. |
