The present invention relates to a sensor module for monitoring a bearing in a steel industry. The sensor module comprises an embedded portion (12a) to be fitted into a hole (22) in a bearing component of a bearing to be monitored. The embedded portion (12a) includes one or more sensors (34a, 34b, 36, 38). The embedded portion (12a) additionally includes a clamping mechanism (30) for generating a clamping force acting on at least two opposing inner side surfaces of the hole (22). |
