PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of preventing erroneous detection of the reference position of a rod even if a turbo housing thermally expands.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine including a turbocharger (1) constituted by a turbo housing (2), a turbine (3) and a compressor (4), a bypass hole (7), and a wastegate valve (21) that includes a valve seat (24), a valve (22) that can adjust an interval to the valve seat (24), a rod (46), and an actuator (41) that can variably adjust a stroke amount of the rod (46), comprises: a stroke sensor (51) detecting the stroke amount of the rod (46); and reference-position detection means (52) abutting the valve (22) on the valve seat (24) and causing the stroke sensor (51) to detect a position of the rod (46) in an abutment state as a reference position if it is determined that the turbo housing (2) is in a cold state. |
