PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an output voltage in an automatic voltage regulator for a self-excited generator, which controls an excitation current of the self-excited generator depending on the result of detection of the output voltage of the self-excited generator.SOLUTION: On-off control of a switch circuit 14 for performing the on-off control of an excitation current is performed by pulse-width modulation based on an output voltage sampled by a control unit 15. Sampling and pulse-width modulation control are set at a high frequency of 1-4 kHz. |
