PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky rice transplanter causing a leveling device to exert an original ground leveling performance provided in the leveling device by controlling the ground leveling height of the leveling device independently from a planting part.SOLUTION: The sulky rice transplanter includes a planting part configured to plant seedlings on a rice field surface, liftably/lowerably fitted to a rear side of a self-propelled travel part via a lifting/lowering mechanism part, and a leveling device for leveling the rice field surface, fitted to a part immediately in front of the planting part so as to adjust the vertical position. The leveling device includes: leveling means grounding on the rice field surface and fulfilling a ground leveling function; ground leveling height detection means for detecting the height from the rice field surface to the leveling means; vertical position adjusting means for adjusting the vertical position of the leveling means; and control means causing the vertical position adjusting means to adjust the vertical position of the leveling means based on the detection result of the ground leveling height detection means to control the ground leveling height of the leveling means. |
