The present invention relates to a method and a device for searching for an optimal network path in a network environment configured to include multiple nodes and links while taking energy efficiency into account. More specifically, the device and the method according to the present invention are used to apply different weight values to the cost required to use each link according to whether the corresponding link or the link type is utilized as the current main path or sub-path in the current network. Accordingly, a group of links capable of minimizing the cost is set as the main path or the sub-path.
