The present invention relates to a composition for healing wound and regenerating skin comprising a seaweed extract. A seaweed extract according to the present invention, an organic solvent extract produced by additionally extracting the seaweed extract using an organic solvent, and a compound separated from a hexane fraction of a Myelophycus simplex extract can be used as the composition for healing wound and regenerating skin based on effects on cell proliferation and cell migration.
