Various systems and methods for determining control inputs of a computing system based on touch inputs are provided. A first touch input can be obtained (1301), and nonorthogonal gesture components of the first touch input can be determined (1302). A plurality of control inputs of a computing system can be determined (1303) based on the nonorthogonal gesture components.
