PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flip-up turning type cold air shut-off device for a refrigerator in which cold air in the refrigerator can be shut off for every refrigerator chamber, foods loading-in or loading-out operation with both hands can be performed, and which can be installed afterwards for a new refrigerator and already-using refrigerator as well.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a shelf plate and a flip-up turning door. The shelf plate is formed into a rectangular flat plate that is mounted on a shelf stage of a refrigerator, its forward both ends are provided with turning door engaging segments oppositely faced in a symmetrical manner that pivotally support the flip-up turning door, the turning door engaging segments having engaging stoppers with their extremity end shapes being formed into a substantial semi-circular shape are protruded in an inward direction while being in flush with the upper surface of the shelf plate, the bearing flanges formed with bearing holes into which the turning shaft cores of the flip-up turning door are fitted are faced inward and vertically installed, the flip-up turning door is provided with turning shafts having turning shaft cores protruded at both lower ends of the rectangular shut-off plate, and at the same time the turning shaft has engaging ribs forming recesses at both ends just near and upper part of the shaft. |
