A method for dynamically checking a password. The method mainly comprises the following step: (1) defining at least two candidate information unit groups, each candidate information unit group comprising a plurality of candidate information units; and separately allocating a display area to each candidate information unit group, a plurality of display areas being regularly arranged on a graphic display interface, and each display area displaying candidate information units belonging to the corresponding candidate information unit group; (2) obtaining selection of at least one candidate information unit for each of at least two groups among the plurality of candidate information unit groups, and constructing a selected information unit set; and (3) comparing information units of the password with the selected information unit set, and when the selected information unit set comprises the information units, determining that a user selects the correct information units in the password. According to the password checking design achieved through the method, the fuzziness of plaintext expression and the usability of user operation are considered at the same time, and the advantages of being safe and reliable are achieved. |
