PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion device having a movement member regulation mechanism which can stably and surely generate fixing force during fixing a guide sheath between a brake member and a guide member by using cam means to maintain the fixing of the guide member.SOLUTION: An endoscope being an insertion device includes an insertion part, an operation part 3, a bend part that operates by an operation of a bending operation knob 10, a bendable wire 7u and guide sheaths 40, 50 for operating the bend part, a guide member 27 provided with a guide groove 27g for guiding the inner guide sheath 40, a movement member regulation mechanism 20, and a switch lever 21. The movement member regulation mechanism 20 includes a brake member 26 brought into contact with the inner guide sheath 40 to regulate forward/backward movement, a slide link mechanism 24 for switching a state with the brake member 26 pressed against the inner guide sheath 40 and a state with the brake member 26 separated from the inner guide sheath 40 by an operation of the switch lever 21, and a force amount regulation part for regulating a pressing force amount with the brake member 26 in contact with the inner guide sheath 40. |
