The present disclosure pertains to an information processor and an information processing method that makes it possible to increase the efficiency for obtaining a prescribed type of voice data among a plurality of types of voice data. 3D audio voice data is split and arranged in one voice file into a plurality of tracks according to the type of 3D audio, and voice data of a prescribed track is obtained from the voice file in which the voice data of the respective tracks are arranged consecutively over prescribed periods of time. The present disclosure can be applied, e.g., to a file generation device for generating files, a web server for recording files generated by the file generation device, and an information processing system comprising a video playback terminal for playing back files. |
