PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease in data transmission efficiency.SOLUTION: A gateway device according to an embodiment includes: a buffer memory, a conversion table, a first control unit, a second control unit, and a third control unit. In the buffer memory, first data transmitted in a first network and second data transmitted in a second network are temporarily stored. In the conversion table, conversion information for performing mutual format conversion to the first data and second data is registered. The first control unit generates the first data from the second data stored in the buffer memory on the basis of the conversion information. The second control unit generates the second data from the first data stored in the buffer memory on the basis of the conversion information. The third control unit reads the conversion information from the conversion table and notifies the first control unit and second control unit of the read conversion information. |
