The first low-temperature printing pace is one of lower and equal to the first high-temperature printing pace. The second low-temperature printing pace is one of lower and equal to the second high-temperature printing pace. An absolute difference between the second high-temperature printing pace and the second low-temperature printing pace is greater than an absolute difference between the first high-temperature printing pace and the first low-temperature printing pace.

An image forming apparatus, comprising: an image forming unit configured to form an image on a sheet; a fixing unit configured to thermally fix the image on the sheet; a temperature sensor; and a controller configured to control the image forming unit and the fixing unit to execute a printing operation to print the image on the sheet at one of a plurality of printing paces, wherein the controller is configured to execute the printing operation at: a first high-temperature printing pace when a first print setting is applied and when a temperature detected by the temperature sensor is higher than a first threshold value;a first low-temperature printing pace when the first print setting is applied and when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is one of lower and equal to the first threshold value;a second high-temperature printing pace when a second print setting is applied and when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is higher than a second threshold value; anda second low-temperature printing pace when the second print setting is applied and when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is one of lower and equal to the second threshold value, wherein the first low-temperature printing pace is one of lower and equal to the first high-temperature printing pace, wherein the second low-temperature printing pace is one of lower and equal to the second high-temperature printing pace, and wherein an absolute difference between the second high-temperature printing pace and the second low-temperature printing pace is greater than an absolute difference between the first high-temperature printing pace and the first low-temperature printing pace.
