PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cell activation promoter composition having higher skin-beautifying effect than that of the conventional biogenic collagen synthesis promoter composition comprising plant extract.SOLUTION: A skin cell activation promoter composition comprises extract from plants of the genus Pfaffia, the family Amaranthaceae which have collagen synthesis promoting action as an essential component, and also comprises, in addition to the essential component, animal-derived collagen peptides singly, or animal-derived N-acetylglucosamine singly, or both of the animal-derived collagen peptides and the animal-derived N-acetylglucosamine in combination. |
