摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tool that enables a downward speed of an impact driver to be increased without using a movable pulley mechanism by solving problems in the driving tool such as charging-type pin tackers in which conventionally a technique of using the movable pulley mechanism is provided for increasing the downward speed of the impact driver, however it is difficult to precisely set a speed increase rate and a speed increasing mechanism is easily enlarged.SOLUTION: A rack and pinion type speed increasing mechanism 45 is interposed between a drive member 18 moving by an electric motor 13 and a rack plate part 52 of an impact driver 51. The speed increasing mechanism 45 includes a large pinion gear 47 and a small pinion gear 46 that are integrated with each other. The large pinion gear 47 is engaged with a driver side rack part 52a of the rack plate part 52, and the small pinion gear 46 is engaged with a driving side rack part 18b of the drive member 18. A speed increasing ratio can precisely be set by changing the number of teeth of the large pinion gear 47 and the small pinion gear 46.
