PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce amplitude of vibration of a hood which occurs during lifting of the hood.SOLUTION: A vehicular pop-up hood device 30 is configured such that an actuator 60 is coupled to a first hinge arm 40 by a connection mechanism 80, so that the actuator 60 can relatively move a vehicle lower side. About vibration of a hood 12 which occurs after lifting of the hood 12 by the actuator 60, when a vehicle width direction center part of the hood 12 displaces from a top dead center to the vehicle lower side, and reaches a bottom dead center or the vicinity of the bottom dead center, a shear part 88 formed on a long hole 84 of the connection mechanism 80 is broken and the actuator 60 relatively moves in the vehicle lower side to the first hinge arm 40. Therefore, internal strain of the hood 12 is released at the time point when vibration speed of the hood 12 becomes approximately zero, and the hood 12 becomes an approximately horizontal state. As the result, amplitude of vibration of the hood 12 which occurs during lifting of the hood 12 can be reduced. |
