This wireless power transmission device (1) varies a magnetic field between a power supply module (2) and a power-receiving module (3) and transmits power, and is provided with: a power supply module (2) that comprises coils (21, 22) and a magnetic member (23) that covers at least the inner peripheral surfaces of the coils (21, 22) and that supplies power to the power-receiving module (3) by varying the magnetic field between said power supply module (2) and the power-receiving module (3); a magnetic field detector (11) that detects magnetic field strength; and a determination control device (4) that determines whether to supply power to the power-receiving module on the basis of the magnetic field strength value that is detected by the magnetic field detector (11) and stops the supply of power to the power supply module when it is determined that power is not to be supplied. The magnetic field detector (11) is arranged in the vicinity of the coils (21, 22). |
