Portable automated sample preparation device (1) comprising a housing (3), said housing (3) containing:
- a collecting chamber (5) for receiving a sample;
- at least one extraction device (7; 7a, 7b) comprising an input (7i) in operative connection with an output (5o) of said collecting chamber, and comprising an output (7o) for outputting a concentrated sample;
- a solvent reservoir (13; 45, 47) adapted to contain solvent, said solvent reservoir (13; 45, 47) being in operative connection with the input (7i) of said extraction device;
- a source of pressurised gas or liquid (11) in operative connection with the collecting chamber (5) and with the solvent reservoir (13; 45, 47), and arranged to cause said sample and said solvent to pass through said extraction device (7; 7a, 7b);
- a controller (19) adapted to control operation of the extraction device (1). |
