Holders; caps.-In optical-projection apparatus comprising an electric lamp 1 having a stop 3 secured to its base 2 to co-operate with a surface 5 formed on the lamp socket 6 &c. to position the filament, a movable push-piece 9 is provided to drive the stop against the surface 5. As shown, the stop 3 has an inclined upper surface and a tongue 7 extending into a slot 8 in the socket 6. The push-piece 9 is forked, its under surface is inclined to engage the surface of the stop, and its upper surface engages the under surface of the forked end 16 of a carrying member 12. The push-piece 9 is carried by a rod 10 having a knob 11, and is pushed into position by a spring 19. |
