<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foolproof optical fiber connection tool.SOLUTION: A first optical fiber securing section 90 has a pair of extended parts 96, 97, and a first unit accommodating space 99 between the extended parts 96, 97 can accommodate a tip portion of a first optical fiber connection unit 10. A second optical fiber securing section 190 has a pair of extended parts 196, 197, and a second unit accommodating space 199 between the extended parts 196, 197 can accommodate a tip portion of a second optical fiber connection unit 20. The extended part 96 of the first optical fiber securing section 90 has a first entry preventer 96b formed thereon, capable of preventing the second optical fiber connection unit 20 from entering the first unit accommodating space 99. The extended part 197 of the second optical fiber securing section 190 has a second entry preventer 197b formed thereon, capable of preventing the first optical fiber connection unit 10 from entering the second unit accommodating space 199.</p> |
