<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid volume display device which makes it easier to recognize liquid volume (liquid level) even in a dark surrounding. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid volume display device includes; a container 1 for accommodating liquid; a liquid volume display tube 2 for checking the volume of liquid in the container 1; a solid light source 4 which is located on one end of the liquid volume display tube 2 and emits light of a predetermined wavelength in a wavelength range of ultraviolet to green visible light as excitation light; and a light guide lens. The liquid volume display tube 2 is provided with a fluorescent float 5 which floats on the liquid surface and emits fluorescence in response to the excitation light from the solid light source 4, and the light guide lens splits and guides the excitation light from the solid light source 4 such that the fluorescent float 5 is irradiated with a portion of the excitation light BM1 from one end of the liquid volume display tube 2 and another portion of the excitation light BM2 from the opposite end of the liquid volume display tube 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
