The present invention relates to antibacterial plastic. With respect to an antibacterial material, 99-99.9 wt% of a plastic material and 0.1-1 wt% of antimicrobial copper powder are mixed and formed into a predetermined shape. The plastic material is made of any one from among a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polyethylene resin, a polystyrene resin, a polypropylene resin, an ABS resin, a phenol resin, a urea resin, a melamine resin, a urethane resin, and a silicone resin, and primarily comes into a lot of contact with the human body or is intended for plastic to manufacture household goods. The antimicrobial copper powder is made of pure copper powder, and is formed to have a particle size of 40-60 μm. The bacteria reduction rates of salmonella, pneumoniae, MRSA bacteria, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus all become 99.9% or higher after 24 hours. In addition, a certain product made of a plastic material is entirely formed of the antibacterial plastic, or a portion of the certain product is applied and formed with the antibacterial plastic. |
