<p>Provided is a considerably more compact information input device. This information input device (1) is provided with an operation unit (11) which receives operation input, and a vein sensor (4) which inputs vein images of the palm of a hand. A wrist guide (5) is provided with a front standing wall (13) further back from the operation unit (11) and a display unit (8). The front standing wall (13) is provided between the vein sensor (4) and the operation unit (11) and display unit (8), and partitions the vein sensor (4) from the operation unit (11) and display unit (8). The front standing wall (13) hides the operation unit (11) and the display unit (8) from the direction of the vein sensor (4). On top of the front standing wall (13), the wrist guide (5) is provided with a wrist support unit (14) which supports the wrist of the hand held over the vein sensor (4). The vein sensor (4) is provided between the wrist guide (5) and a finger guide (16), which is further back than the vein sensor (4).</p> |
