<p>Disclosed is an induction cooker provided with a top plate (2), an induction heating coil (3) disposed below the top plate (2), an inverter (10) for supplying a current to the induction heating coil (3), a control unit (9) for controlling the inverter (10), a strip-shaped first electrode (4) disposed below the top plate (2) and arranged along and in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the induction heating coil (3), a strip-shaped second electrode (5) disposed further outward than the first electrode (4) in relation to the induction heating coil (3), a first capacitance detecting unit (6) for detecting the capacitance of the first electrode (4), a second capacitance detecting unit (7) for detecting the capacitance of the second electrode (5), and a boil-over determining unit (8) for determining whether or not a boil-over occurred on the basis of the capacitance of the first electrode and the second electrode respectively detected by means of the first capacitance detecting unit (6) and the second capacitance detecting unit (7).</p> |
