<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having a sufficient fitting force in a limited space and using a bore plug not reducing a magnetic force, which is detected by a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device includes a housing, a shaft member rotating while being inserted on an inner peripheral side of the housing, an encoder fixed to one end of the shaft member, the bore plug made from a nonmagnetic steel plate for closing an opening of the housing while being fit-fixed to the inner peripheral face of the housing, and the sensor arranged confronting the encoder via the bore plug for detecting the rotation speed of the encoder. The bore plug is formed of a cylindrical part fitted to the inner peripheral face of the housing, and a disc-like part connected to the axial end of the cylindrical part on the sensor side and closing the opening, and the disc-like part forms a recessed part recessed toward the encoder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
