A screenshot of a composite image 107 to be collectively displayed by a plurality of display devices 100, 101, 102, 103 of a multi-display system is generated according to display layout information. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining, from the display devices of the multi-display system, image data of the composite image to be respectively displayed by the display devices, at a capture timestamp shared between said display devices; and generating said screenshot of the composite image from the obtained image data, using said display layout information. The display devices may be video projectors, televisions or other display screens. The screenshot may be generated by one of the display devices or by an external device 111 connected to the display system. The method may include the step of deleting duplicated data corresponding to overlapping areas displayed by two or more display devices so that a single occurrence is kept. |
