<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire bead filler enhancing elasticity and lowering heat generation without deteriorating breaking elongation, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the tire bead filler is composed by blending 0.1 to 5 mass% of thermoplastic resin, 50 to 100 mass% of carbon black having less than 80 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g of N<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SA, 0.1 to 15 mass% of the following resin solution as mass of novolak phenol-based resin, and 0.1 to 15 mass% of a curing agent relative to 100 mass% of a diene rubber containing a natural rubber. In the pneumatic tire, the rubber composition is used for the bead filler 6. The resin solution is composed by dissolving the novolak phenol-based resin having a softening point of 84°C or more in an organic solvent, in which the ratio of the novolak phenol-based resin to the organic solvent is 1:0.25 to 1:4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
