<p>[Problem] To provide an escalator affixing sheet allowing easy and reliable affixing of sheet pieces to the bottom surface of grooves formed on the step portions or side portions of an escalator, and allowing the number of components to be reduced. [Solution] An escalator affixing sheet (1) is obtained by forming, into a single sheet, sheet pieces (11) to be affixed to the bottom surface (75) of a plurality of grooves (73) formed on the step portions (71); and a connecting part (31) for connecting the sheet pieces (11), a plurality of which being disposed in parallel in alignment with the gaps between the grooves (73). The present invention has: a positioning step for affixing and positioning the connecting part (31) on a step portion (71); an affixing step for inserting insertion portions (111) of a jig (110) into the grooves (73), whereby each sheet piece (11) is pushed into a groove (73) and affixed to the bottom surface of the groove (73); and a connecting-part-cutting-off step for moving the insertion portions (111) of the jig (110) inserted into the grooves (73) toward the connecting part (31) and applying tension between the connecting part (31) and the sheet pieces (11), whereby the connecting part (31) is cut off from the sheet pieces (11).</p> |
