<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for controlling an operation target device in a vehicle, which can operate the operation target device without detaching or largely shifting a hand from a gripping part. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor data generation part 22 generates sensor data based on a contact detection signal obtained from a touch sensor 21 mounted to cover the gripping part of a steering wheel. A detection part 10a detects whether the driver grips the gripping part or not and an input operation to the touch sensor 21. When it is detected by the detection part 10a that the driver grips the holding part and it is detected that a specific input operation has been performed to the touch sensor 21, a control part 10 controls the operation target device according to the specific input operation.
