The present invention relates to a system and a method for recognizing a driving road of a vehicle, which use an image acquired through a camera of a vehicle or information received from a road system to recognize a road on which the vehicle is driven. Sensed data, current location information, road map data, etc. of the vehicle are used to detect whether the vehicle changes the road. If the vehicle is confirmed to have changed the road and entered a new road, the road on which the vehicle is currently driven is immediately recognized by integrating driving road information which recognized the entry onto the road for the first time. Therefore, according to the present invention, the driving road can be recognized even if road recognition by the camera is difficult to achieve, and the information on changing and entering the road is quickly acquired to determine a final road. Moreover, information on the final road is supplied to the corresponding vehicle and surrounding vehicles to be used in an ADAS or V2V application service. |
