detecting a retuning triggering event, wherein the retriggering event is based on a secondary component carrier activation or deactivation; determining a period of time when a retuning gap occurs, on a condition that the triggering event is detected, wherein the retuning gap is a time period in which the WTRU is capable of retuning its radio frequency front end to currently active component carriers; and performing radio frequency front end retuning during the retuning gap. |
