The present invention relates to a smart digital door cam and, more particularly, to a digital door cam which can conveniently photograph, store, and confirm an image of a passer even at a place where a wired/wireless network environment is not set, and a method for controlling the same. The door cam of the present invention comprises a PIR sensor, an illuminance sensor, a flash LED, an ISP, a door sensor, a cmos camera, an indicate LED, an SD memory, a BT TX, and a smart device for performing the confirmation through BT communications. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: sensing a passer and an object and photographing a corresponding image by an infrared PIR sensor; setting an external rectangular box for an area where the object or a person is detected, and setting an inner rectangular box in a minimum size which determines a detection of the object or the person; and storing the photographed image or door opening information to the SD memory, and controlling the stored data to be received by a user through an SD memory reader or controlling the same to be paired with the smart device through a Bluetooth to be received by the user. |
