1. A method for displaying data, the method comprising:
defining first, second, and third sets of spreadsheet cells in a display, the first and third sets being non-adjacent and separated by the second set; receiving a user request to disable a selected scrolling function in the first and third sets of spreadsheet cells; and in response to the user request, automatically disabling the selected scrolling function within the first and third sets of spreadsheet cells and enabling the selected scrolling function within the second set of spreadsheet cells.
