1. A cooling tube for an arc plasma torch, comprising:
an axial length of said cooling tube and a wall extending along at least a portion of said axial length; an elongated tube body of said cooling tube having a rear end having an external thread, a front end for positioning said tube body within an open end of an electrode, and a coolant duct extending therethrough; said front end having a bead-like thickening of said wall of said cooling tube pointing inwards, outwards, or both; and said wall having a plurality of projections, one offset from another with respect to both the longitudinal axis and the circumferential axis of said cooling tube.
