The present invention relates to a bookbinding adhesive applying equipment to open and close a nozzle. The present invention of the bookbinding adhesive applying equipment comprises: a vice (10) to push from the sides, supporting a book (130); a guide case (20) comprising left and right guide rods (21a, 21b) to guide when the vice (10) moves forwards and backwards; a pressing roller (30) supported by the vice (10) to press from the sides a bottom end unit of the book (130) moving forwards; sensors (60a, 60b) to detect the book (130) which has passed through the pressing roller (30); a nozzle driving unit (70) to receive a signal of the book (130) passing through the pressing roller (30) from the sensors (60a, 60b) to open an adhesive nozzle (42) of an adhesive applying unit (40); the adhesive applying unit (40) to open the adhesive nozzle (42) by the nozzle driving unit (70) to let an adhesive be supplied, and to apply the adhesive such as a polyurethane adhesive (PUR) on a bottom end unit of the book (130); and a stacking unit (50) to place the book (130) on which the adhesive is applied by the adhesive applying unit (40). The present invention rotates the adhesive nozzle in a nozzle mounting groove when applying the adhesive on the book; matches an adhesive supplying groove with a discharge groove; and lets the adhesive be discharged to be applied on the bottom end unit of the book. When the application is completed, the present invention rotates the adhesive nozzle back to the original position; prevents the melted PUR from contacting the moisture in the air; and prevents the causes for waste to make it possible to use the adhesive economically. |
