Disclosed is a method for scheduling receiving of media content by a client who determines a plurality of network connections capable of receiving media content between the client and a server and predicting buffering timing received through some network connections to generate scheduling information for allocating segments of media content to each network connection at the predicted buffering timing wherein the segments of the media content are allocated to some network connections and transmit the generated scheduling information to the server. A method for scheduling transceiving of media content, a device thereof, and a system thereof reduce time for which the client receives media content by scheduling the media content transmitted from the server to the client through network connections.
