The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling multimedia content between sink devices in a wireless display system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: generating a control request message which requests control for multimedia content provided from a second sink device in a first sink device to transmit the same to a source device; receiving a control response message from the source device according to the control request message; and controlling the multimedia content provided from a second device based on the control response message.
