PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a torque converter mounted with a dynamic damper to have stable and high attenuation performance in an entire normal rotation speed range with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A fluid type power transmission device comprises: a torque converter body 8; a lockup device 6; and a dynamic damper 7. The lockup device 6 has an output plate 20 which is connected to a turbine 4. The dynamic damper 7 is fixed to the output plate 20 of the lockup device 6 and attenuates fluctuation in a rotation speed from an engine. Also, the dynamic damper 7 has: a base plate 28; an inertia body I; and an elastic unit 33. The base plate 28 is fixed to the output plate 20. The inertia body I can move relative to the base pate 28 in a rotation direction. The elastic unit 33 has non-linear torsional property and elastically connects the base plate 28 and the inertial body I in the rotation direction.
