A pulse oximeter (1, 2) is provided with a first light-emitting section (11) for emitting a first light, a second light-emitting section (12) for emitting a second light with a wavelength that differs from the first light, and a light-receiving section (13) for respectively receiving a first returning light, which is the first light returning from a living body, and a second returning light, which is the second light returning from the living body. Said pulse oximeter is provided with: a contact pressure-detecting means (14) for detecting a signal relating to the contact pressure between the pulse oximeter and the living body; and an outputting means (100) for outputting information relating to oxygen saturation on the basis of respective signal outputs from the light-receiving section arising from the first returning light and the second returning light, and a signal relating to the detected contact pressure. |
