摘要 Embodiments relate to an illumination device comprising a plurality of LEDs emitting light in different source colors, the light of the illumination device being obtained by a combination of the source colors of the plurality of LEDs, an interface adapted to receive an input signal indicative of at least a color and/or brightness to be emitted by the illumination device, and a storage unit comprising colorimetric data indicative of colorimetric properties of the light emitted by the plurality of LEDs, where the colorimetric properties of the LEDs define the actual color gamut of the illumination device. The storage unit includes a predefined color gamut data, and a processing unit is adapted to generate an adjusted color gamut based on the actual color gamut and the predefined color gamut and generate an activation signal for the plurality of LEDs based on the input signal and the adjusted color gamut.
