PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head which suppresses reduction in productivity and cost increase associated with reduction in a distance between ends communicating with a discharge port of an ink supply port.SOLUTION: A silicon substrate 27 comprises a plurality of ink supply ports 42 which connect a plurality of discharge ports 25 formed in an ink discharge part 21 and an ink channel 11 formed in a support member 10. An ink supply port 42 has a front face supply port 43 which is opened on a first face 40 side being a face on the ink discharge part 21 side of the silicon substrate 27 and a rear face supply port 44 which is opened on a second face 41 side being a face on the support member 10 side of the silicon substrate 27. The pitch of the opening of the front face supply port 43 on the first face 40 side is smaller than the pitch of the opening of the rear face supply port 44 on the second face 41. When the support member 10 is seen from above in the vertical direction of the first face 40, a part of the opening on the first face 40 side of the front face supply port 43 is positioned on the outer side of the opening on the second face 41 side of the rear face supply port 44. |
