The present invention automatically converts a business rule sentence written in natural language to a sentence in Drools Rule Language (DRL). A language conversion device (10) is provided with a storage device (16) for storing syntax definition information (30) defining syntax for converting a business rule sentence written in natural language to a DRL language sentence in syntax units and conversion information (40) for converting element variables of the business rule sentence to element variables of the DRL language sentence, and a CPU (11) for analyzing the syntax of the business rule sentence by comparing the business rule sentence and the syntax definition information (30) and converting the business rule sentence to the DRL language sentence by referring to the conversion information (40).
