This invention provides an electromagnetic contactor in which exacerbation of vibration by wear of snap-fit parts that connect a first frame and a second frame is minimized. Said electromagnetic contactor is provided with a first frame (11A), a second frame (11B), and snap-fit parts (37). The first frame (11A) contains an electromagnet for operating the electromagnetic contactor, and the second frame (11B) contains a contact mechanism. The snap-fit parts (37) comprise the following: an engagement protrusion (36) formed on either the first frame or the second frame; and a hook (26) that is formed on the other frame and engages with the engagement protrusion (36). Said hook (26) comprises the following: a flexible protruding plate (26a) that is formed on the open end of the first frame or the second frame so as to protrude therefrom; and an engagement section (26b) that is formed on the tip of said flexible protruding plate and engages with the aforementioned engagement protrusion (36). The flexible protruding plate (26a) is provided with elasticity so as to make the engagement section (26b) engage more deeply with the engagement protrusion (36) as wear between the engagement section (26b) and the engagement protrusion (36) progresses.
