TIME DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS

The present invention relates to a time display method. The method comprises: when an electronic device in a standby state detects, by means of a first sensor, that a motion trail of the electronic device meets a first condition, acquiring current time of the electronic device; generating a clock display user interface (UI) by using the current time, and storing the clock display UI into a buffer; and when a screen of the electronic device is lit, displaying the clock display UI in the buffer onto the screen of the electronic device. The present invention solves the problem that time hopping occurs on time displayed when the screen of the electronic device is lit, and reduces power consumption of the electronic device.
